For your peace of
mind, we have equipped Papaonga Lake Outpost with a sat phone at no extra
cost to you. The phone is designed for emergency purposes only, as it
relies on it's battery pack to operate. Personal calls can be made, but
there are several things to keep in mind.
- The cost is approximately
$3.00 US per minute or any part thereof
- If the phone is
used un-necessarily, it may deplete the battery, and will be in-operative
if a real emergency arises.
- The sat phone is
for out-going calls only
